PERSONAL PROGRESSIVE PLAN
RIDEANDRACE personalised training plans are for the beginner to the experienced cyclists, for cyclists wanting to build fitness progressively without the guidance of a coach. Your personalised program is based on your individual factors and aims to maximize gains in your available training time.
Can a personalised training program help me achieve my realistic goal? Yes it can when combined consistency and train within program guidelines.
Do you only create personal training programs for people who race? No, you may be interested in being fitter or losing weight and don't want to compete in cycling races, but want to use cycling as a medium to help achieve your health goals. All that is asked of you is that you ride a bike, and want to improve in some way.
What do I need? Access to daily emails. For the experienced cyclist a heart rate monitor and or power meter is essential. For the beginner a heart rate monitor is essential and a power meter is recommended but not essential.
How often will I receive my training? Daily via email notification from TrainingPeaks and always a day before. You can also view your daily/weekly/monthly session when you log into your TrainingPeaks profile.
What do I do when I miss a session? It is highly recommended that you move onto the next session instead of playing catch up.
What do I get? A personalised progressive training program backed by personal experience and practical knowledge, If not already a user - a free basic TrainingPeaks account. Downloadable workouts for Garmin, Wahoo, Zwift and ERG file format for smart indoor trainers.

Builder Plan includes goal specific training and is a long term program designed to fit your training timeline and achieve your target. You can choose from a 12, 18 and 24 week duration plan with a progressive structure to improve your weakness and maximize as well as maintain your strengths.

Race Preparation Plan is a short term program, factors in recent training data and is designed to be an effective race sharpener. You can choose from a 6 and 8 week duration plan that includes specific and structured sessions to help you finish comfortable, strong and or achieve your personal best.
